Sport fishing trips

For an 8 hour trip leaving at 8 in the morning and returning at 4 in the afternoon the charge is £55 per person weekdays, with a minimum charge for the boat of £500. The weekend rate is £60 per person or £600 for the boat.

Tackle hire

Rod and reels are available for a charge of £10 per person per day. This charge includes end tackle. There will be an additional charge for extra end tackle, and if rods or reels are damaged or lost.

Bait

From April to October mackerel can easily be caught off Brighton for use as bait. In the latter months of the year cod are best caught on calamari or cuttlefish. Lug and ragworm and peeler crab can also be effective, particularly for ground fishing. There is a tackle shop within 50 metres of the boat that can provide most bait for anglers, if required.

Mackerel fishing

Mackerel fishing trips are charged at £150 for the first hour and £220 for 2 hours for the whole boat, including tackle hire.

Bassing Trips

Bassing fishing trips are charged at £85 per person (up to 6 people) or £100 at weekends.

Deposits

A £200 deposit for the complete boat or £25 per person is required to hold advance bookings. This is fully refundable if the skipper cancels the trip for weather, safety or operational reasons. It is not refundable for cancellations by customers within 28 days of the booked date, and if we receive a cancellation within 7 days of the booked date then the full amount is due.
